We are saddened to announce to our GAP Members and those who access our Grapevine Art Project websites that the 2020 GrapeFest Event has been cancelled. I know that our Artists are deeply disappointed to not be able to display their Art Forms and Portfolio to many of their Customers who follow them to these events.

We further recognize the economic impact on the City of Grapevine, the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, and all of the Grapevine Businesses negatively affected.

Below is an announcement extract sent out by the Grapevine CVB earlier this morning:

"It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of the 34th Annual GrapeFest® - A Texas Wine Experience, presented by Bank of the West but know that it is best for everyone’s safety during this unprecedented time. As you know, GrapeFest is one of Grapevine’s signature festivals and we take great pride in showcasing our city, not only to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but to visitors from around the world. In support of the State of Texas and the City of Grapevine’s guidelines and procedures to stem the spread of COVID-19, we had to make this difficult decision for the safety of all attendees, volunteers, sponsors, civic and service charitable organizations, vendors, and staff".

Finally, we would like to "Thank" our GAP Event Team led by Barbara Mittler including Betty Enmon, Stefan Huyghe and our Jury Selection Team, Sue Wallace, Amy Tigner, Juliana DeMelo Gahagan, Jackie Loria, Stefan Huyghe and Betty Enmon and Barbara Mittler . In addition, we know that our Artists put an enormous amount of work into marketing of these events and creating new Art Forms to interest both the public, their friends and followers.

We are hopeful that 2021 will be a new and better year for all of us going forward.
